The City Quest Series will see Lloyds Banking Group colleagues from up and down the UK take on a 20 mile route in their city, to support the Bank's charity partner for 2023: Crisis.

For Laura and Shevonne - this is Leeds - home city for over 15 year and 30 years respectively.

As well as covering the distance - reflective of the distance homeless people walk in a typical day - participants will also be provided with a list of tasks to complete along the way.

Within this challenge, walkers will be able to learn more about the partnership and fundraise to support more people out of homelessness, for good.

Shevonne:

Every time I visit the city centre I see homeless people and interact as positively and respectfully as I can, but we all know there are natural limits to what we can do as individuals. So the partnership with Crisis resonates with me and I wish to support it personally and with your help.

This Quest is a personal challenge as whilst many of you know I regularly run medium distance, I've never covered more than 15 miles and not in an urban environment.

So 20 miles is a stretch!

Laura:

Crisis is such an amazing cause, supporting those in such a low time of their lives get back on their feet which is my main reason for wanting to raise awareness for this amazing charity but also funds in order to help those in need. I am gong to be walking the 20mile walk along with several other colleagues including Shevonne which will be a challenge in its self let alone to think some homeless people do this on a daily basis.
