The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 and young women under 25 in the UK.

Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.

Not only do CALM offer the invaluable helpline and webchat services, but they work with local charities and signpost to resources and support covering an array of different topics and challenges in life. This type of organisation hits home for parts of the Sheldon Spa team through personal experience with mental health challenges.

The work that CALM do is astounding and the cause is one incredibly close to the hearts of all at Sheldon Spa. In order to raise funds to support the work that they do, Sheldon Spa are hosting an event on 17th May 2023 focused on the promotion of good skin care and sun protection. After all, the largest organ of the body is the skin! But, that is not all...Sheldon Spa retail Caudalíe - a paraben free skin care product with active ingredients from the vine.

Caudalíe pride themselves on their sustainable, healthy and clean products. So, not only are we raising money for CALM, but we will be advocating good, sustainable and clean skincare products whilst bringing the community together with wonderful Canapés prepared fresh by our extremely talented in-house chef, Neil, and wines to try from the parent Vineyards of Bordeaux who supply the very products our sun care charity soirée is in aid of.

Any and all donations are welcome with no offering too small! In addition to raising funds by this JustGiving page, we have received an abundance of donations from local businesses which can be won by raffle! Raffle tickets will cost as little as £3.00 each or £12.00 for 5.
