On Sunday 6th October 2024, myself and 3 friends are running the Cardiff half marathon in support of a charity close to our hearts - Forget-me-not Chorus (FMNC). And yes, as you may have guessed, we’re doing it dressed as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! 🥷

To make it even more interesting (as if that’s possible), we’ll also be filming clips throughout the run so that we can put together a little montage of the day, which we’ll be sharing within anyone who donates. So in order to see our blood, sweat, tears and turtle costumes be sure to leave a contribution. 🎥

Forget-me-not Chorus have spent over 12 years organising singing sessions for people with all forms of dementia, as well as the families, friends and professional staff looking after them. These singalongs are not only a welcome break from their daily routines but they also help to give choristers a sense of worth and achievement, whilst hopefully bringing back some treasured memories. We’re hoping to raise some money for an amazing cause, put ourselves through a physical challenge and hopefully have some fun along the way (as much fun as you can have running 21km dressed in green with a shell on your back)! 😂
