Story
Getting to high school is often just a dream for many girls living in remote rural villages of Ejere, Ethiopia. There is one high school for the whole region which is roughly the size of Gloucestershire. Transport links are non existent and it is too far to walk to school and back safely in one day.
Thankfully the Underhill Scholarship scheme provides girls from these remote rural villages a life line to be able to attend and thrive at High school.
We are currently expanding our girls education centre which will allow us to support twice as many girls. Previous recipients of the scholarship are now working in local government, education, engineering, nursing and accountancy or have their own business. Can you please support our team running to raise money to help expand this vital service?
