Story
We have formed a team to fundraise for The Myton Hospices because we recognise the amazing value of good quality palliative and end of life care.
Some of us are past and present nurses who have worked for The Myton Hospices for many (many) years; together we have formed a team who know and love each other as a group of family and friends deeply affected by the death of Talvin in 2023. Chad, his devoted mum, has walked a path of grief that has been accompanied by us, who love her and her family so greatly. We walk together to remember Talvin, to fundraise for Myton but also as an act of solidarity, with all the family, as an expression of our journey together. We would be so moved by your support and generosity as you consider donating and we thank you in advance.
Talvin; we love you, miss you and walk for you
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.
Last year we supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
