Story

I'm proud to be a trustee of this totally independent charity that has its members and patients at its heart. One of the things we are passionate about is empowering people with the knowledge and skills they need to solve skin health and wound healing challenges and we do this in many different ways. One of the key ones is providing FREE, unbiased education for our members and our community. We do this in several different ways so that all of our community has the chance to take part but here are some of the key things we want to continue to support:

• Free virtual study sessions and days that cover a range of relevant subjects and levels

• Free conference places and travel and accommodation bursaries for both our own conference and the meetings of other societies

• Projects that help raise awareness of issues like Legs Matter and Stop the Pressure

• Education for carers and care home workers through our Skin Care Champions programme
