Story

On the 28th September all 3 of us are once again taking part in 'Scottys March' a 10k around Henley-on-Thames as part of the Chiltern 50 Challenge.

The SCOTTY March is taking place in memory of the fallen and in support of the children they leave behind.

Scottys have been a lifeline to Lexie and Cerie supporting them after losing Ollie, their Dad to suicide in Feb 2020. From bereavement counselling, adventure days and Christmas party's to name a few. They also have made some friends for life who 'simply get it', this helps them feel that they are never alone in their journey.

Scottys has taught them that it is ok to have fun, laugh and be happy alongside their greif.

Scotty's Little Soldiers is a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people who have experienced the death of a parent, who served in the British Armed Forces

Inspired by the experience of Army widow Nikki Scott following the death of her husband Cpl Lee Scott in Afghanistan in 2009, the charity is currently providing assistance to hundreds of bereaved Forces children around the UK.

Scotty's provide help and support to bereaved military children and young people aged 0-25, through three Family Programmes; Smiles, Support, and Strides. You can find out more on the programmes by heading over to their website. https://www.scottyslittlesoldiers.co.uk
