Story
We work at Future Education, a school for children with complex Special Educational Needs, which is part of the Future Projects charity. The charity is celebrating its 21st birthday in 2023.
As part of our fundraising mission we are walking 87 miles along the Spanish pilgrim walk known as the Camino Santiago at the start of the Easter holidays.
Future Projects was set up to deliver community support to address hardship and deprivation in Norfolk. Through a direct presence in the communities we serve, we engage those that would otherwise be overlooked. Our work spans several themes, bringing personalised support in areas such as Welfare Rights, Housing and Homelessness, Volunteering, Loneliness, Social Isolation, Therapeutic Education, Employment Support and more.
This work is bought together under three strands: Future Support, a collection of specialist support services working directly with those in need: Future Education, a specialist independent school for children with complex SEND; Future Radio, Norwich’s community radio station.
Please help us support this amazing charity by sponsoring our walk.
