Jake is taking on the challenge of swimming 22 miles – the length of the English Channel – in support of St Giles Hospice and in memory of his Dad Mark Lawson who passed away at St Giles on the 6th June 2024. .

The care Mark and we received as a family was second to none, we were allowed to stay with Mark day and night, never made to feel awkward or in the way, we cannot thank them enough.

St Giles Hospice spend close to £10 million a year providing their specialist services. With, on average, between 20-25% of this funded by the Government, they rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community.
