My name is Sharon Dowey and I’m very proud to be an MSP for the South of Scotland.

I’ve lived in Ayrshire all my life. I worked for many years in a Kilmarnock retail store.

I’m delighted to be taking part in Ayrshire Does Strictly for the Killie Community. Although, I must admit that I am slightly nervous - I’m not a dancer!

I haven’t done anything like this since we had to do country dancing at school, which was a very long time ago.

But I’m excited to be involved because the Killie Community is a fantastic charity that does excellent work, so I know all the money will go towards a great cause.

Any donation you can give, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference in communities around Ayrshire.
