Currently there are almost 23 000 active wildfires in the Amazon. Causing havoc, not only for the indigenous communities but also the animals. Cool Earth are really doing their best to help combat deforestation and help indigenous communities. We’ve help raise money for them in the past and they do a great job.

We normally raise funds for a charity when we do an adventure as group. In 2012 it was the Mongol Rally. Last year it was the Rickshaw Run in Sri Lanka. This year it’s the Monkey Run in Morocco. We hope that by doing these trips we can raise awareness for the the situation in the Amazon as well as raise some money to help.
