Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

We thrilled to be fundraising for Dementia UK, a cause that is close to our hearts. On April 14, 2024, a team of like minded friends both military and civilian, some of the team include Colin Stinson and his selected guests Geoff Foster Barry Azzopardie, Dave Perkins and the Legendary Dirty Dozen that are joining us, as we intend to roll back the years to our service days, as most of us are 50 - 65 years plus of age. Our challenge is to "Beat the Clock." Our task is to mirror one of the 22 SAS selection test routes which involves 24km in under 4.5 hours, including going over the mighty Pen Y Fan Twice. The Training has already started as Its a grueling tough challenge thats for sure, but that makes us even more determined.

Dementia is a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, robbing them of their memories and independence. It is a battle that requires our collective effort and support. By participating in this event, we aim to raise awareness and funds for Dementia UK's vital work in providing specialist dementia support for families.

The team are reaching out to you today with an ask - please consider supporting our cause by making a donation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact in improving the lives of those affected by dementia.

Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those living with dementia and their loved ones.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
