The Situation

Afghanistan faces one of the world’s most pressing humanitarian crises.

Today, 23.7 million Afghans require urgent humanitarian support, and over 5.3 million Afghan refugees have been displaced beyond the country’s borders. Years of conflict, economic collapse, and natural disasters have devastated the country.

Over a third of the population — 15.8 million people — are experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity (IPC Phase 3 or above) due to the climate crisis and soaring food prices.

How IDRF is Helping

In response, IDRF is providing immediate food packages to families across Afghanistan. Our goal is to provide a nutritious food parcel to sustain a family of 5-6 for one month.

This includes:

Oil 10L

Sugar 8kg

Tea 1 kg

Pasta 6kg

Beans 3kg
