Aghosh UK and PIMA Palestine, are launching a crucial initiative to deploy Mobile Health Units and Clinics across new refugee camps in Gaza. The escalating situation and restricted movements due to the ongoing conflict make this project a lifeline for vulnerable populations.

With your support, Aghosh UK will aim to establish Mobile Health Units and Clinics to provide primary medical care within the new refugee camps. The project addresses the dire need for healthcare, especially with over 1,100,000 displaced citizens facing challenging living conditions in shelter centers.

Project Details:

Each Mobile Health Unit will include 2 doctors, 2 nurses, an ambulance, and a driver.

The units will treat approximately 2000 patients per month, offering essential medical services, medications, dressings, and transfers to hospitals if necessary.

Why This Matters:

Hospitals Struggle: The Gaza Strip has 34 hospitals, but more than half are out of service due to the current conflict, leaving the healthcare system in disarray.

Displacement Challenges: Over 1,100,000 citizens displaced to southern governorates face limited medical services, especially in shelter centers, increasing the risk of diseases, especially among vulnerable groups.

Project Objectives:

Provide living services within shelter centers.

Prevent the spread of infections and diseases.

Alleviate financial burdens on displaced families.

Relieve overburdened government hospitals in the south.
