Hi,

I'm Bianca and I am running a sewing challenge on Instagram to raise money for a cause that is has personally affected my family.

Last year, January 2023, I lost my father suddenly...

It was a shock to us all as my dad had just come from work, went for his 34th wedding anniversary dinner with my mom and never returned home.

After an autopsy, we found out that one of the factors of his passing was hypertension, and he was just a couple of weeks away from having a doctor's appointment to deal with this issue.

I am running this sewing challenge as a way to bring awareness to the issues high blood pressure can cause and it is so important to know where you stand with it.

If you suffer from it, there are lifestyle changes you can make to lower your high blood pressure.

All donations will be going to The Blood Pressure UK charity based in London.

They are the only UK charity dedicated to lowering the nation's blood pressure to prevent stroke and heart disease.

Their vision is for everyone to know their blood pressure numbers in the same way they know their height or weight and take steps to keep them healthy, both now and in the future.

I would really appreciate a donation of £1 or more, and if you sew you can join in on the Instagram challenge by sewing a garment for yourself or a loved one.
