Our lives are dedicated to helping those less fortunate and especially our Earth, which provides for us all and is in great need at this time. We do this through Be the Earth Foundation which we set up in 2019.

As Schumacher College prepares to celebrate 30 years of ecological education we are raising money to ensure our campus is carbon neutral and sustainable for the future. At this time of global challenge it has never been more important to share our learning with the next generation of care-takers for our planet.

Thanks to a generous gift we have already raised £2 million to repair the roof of the Old Postern, the heart of the College campus. Now we wish to match that with raising an additional £2 million.

The money will be used to: complete a restoration of the interior of the Grade II* Listed Old Postern building and surrounding grounds, introduce solar power to the accommodation blocks, obtain a second biomass boiler, introduce a grey water system, insulate the windows and doors, improve the kitchens and dining area and help us to begin building a scholarship fund.
