Absailing down Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth , 22 June 2024
In memory of Jools Sweeney
We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

Amy and I have lived in Portsmouth for three years and are about to graduate from university. We have always wanted a challenge and decided abseiling down Spinnaker Tower was the thing for us!

We have decided to do this in memory of our family friend Jools, who tragically took his own life at age 14. Jools was a happy, kind and loving boy and everybody adored spending time with him.

We would like to raise as much money as possible which will go to PAPYRUS. PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people took their own lives.

Jools has left an unimaginable void in his parents Ellen and Matt's life and all his family and friends.

Please help us raise lots of money to help support young people struggling with their mental health and help their families.

Thank you for your support.
