As a member of The New York Foundling's Junior Board, and an Educational Specialist at The Foundling, I aim to raise funds this holiday season to support data driven programming and services for my neighbors in New York.

I'm approaching one year of working at the New York Foundling as an Educational Specialist, ensuring that students in foster care receive the special education and therapeutic services needed to succeed in school!

So far, I've been a part of a team that has advocated for the DOE to fund four different students to attend non-public day treatment programs (where they can receive on-site mental health care and learn in small classroom environments) - and been a part of securing special education services for over 50 students.

Every dollar I raise will help fund these life changing programs, and has a direct impact on my local New York community. I hope you consider joining me this Giving Tuesday in supporting the New York Community, and beyond!
