Story
During the month of January 2025 I shall be completing a block of 25 burpees each day to honour 25 years of SeeSaw.
Everyone knows how much I hate burpees. I throw a mini tantrum at the gym every time I’m asked to do them in blocks of more than 5. The only part of a burpee that is enjoyable is lying on the floor at the bottom! This will be a significant challenge for me so please give generously.
SeeSaw provides support for children, young people and their families in Oxfordshire when someone close to them is seriously ill, or has died.
Through appropriate and timely support, SeeSaw can help to reduce the emotional, psychological and mental health consequences of grief. Young people are then able to face the future with hope.
This year marks a significant milestone for SeeSaw as we reach 25 years of supporting bereaved families across Oxfordshire. Over the past quarter century we have supported 8379 children thanks to our community, volunteers, and donors.
Raising £500 could fund a work phone for a clinical worker to stay in touch with families.
Raising £710 covers the average cost of supporting a child.
Raising £1000 could fund the annual cost of clinical staff training and professional development
