Story

In May 2024 I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon to raise money for OSCAR's PBTC. I have decided to do this now because 2024 marks 10 years since I lost my brother and best friend, Oscar. Moreover, it will also have been 4 years since I lost my Dad, Ian and 3 years since I lost my youngest brother, Milo. Therefore, I want to run in their memory and raise as much money as possible in order to fund research into better and kinder treatments for brain tumours so that less children and young adults have to live with devastating effect of current treatments. Every day is a tremendous struggle without my Dad and two brothers, everything I do is to make them proud and I try to live my life to the fullest since they didn't get the chance. I want to take on a half marathon to really test myself and because I know Oscar probably would have done one by now anyway and both my Dad and Milo would have loved watching me do one.
