I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in April 2022 and was given a stage 4 prognosis in July 2023. I have had surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy all at The Christie. Thanks to them I am alive but, more than that, they are amazing at The Christie, so kind, and keep me in the best of spirits. They'll do the same for you too if you get cancer. I am running with Olivia, my youngest daughter. It will not be easy for me as the date falls just after a dose of chemo. That's got to be worth a few more quid, no?
