Story

The annual Sunshine Run returns for its 21st edition, and team Winn Group are take part!

The 5km run along Newcastle’s Quayside will take place on Wednesday evening, June 19th and is always a great night for fun runners and those seeking competition.

A flat course, it is suitable for those looking to walk, jog, or run in aid of the Sunshine Fund charity:

✨ The Sunshine Fund provides life-changing equipment to local children living with disabilities, additional needs and terminal illness

✨ We support babies, children and young adults from the age of 0 - 19

✨ The types of equipment we provide range from sensory bundles to trikes, iPads and laptops to eye gaze technology, adapted seating to specialist wheelchairs and buggies, and everything in between

✨ We don’t receive any statutory funding from the government or local authority, and rely solely on donations to help us grow

About the charity

The Chronicle Sunshine Fund provides specialist equipment for children with disabilities or special needs, to improve the quality of their lives. The fund is helping North East children in special schools, learning units, hospitals and also individual families.
