Story
On Sunday 21 April I will be running the London Marathon for Fight for Sight's Tommy Salisbury Fund a charity very close to my heart. I have been supporting their fundraising for many years and was honoured to be given a place to do this for Fight for Sight.
Tommy is 23 and at the age of 4 was diagnosed with a rare eye condition called Choroideremia. This condition starts off with night blindness not being able to see at night or when its dark and continues to deteriorate until total blindness. Tommy's parents Emma & Paul, our very close friends, set up the Tommy Salisbury Fund within the charity Fight for Sight in 2005. They have been raising money since he was diagnosed to fund vital research into finding a treatment to stop the progression and save Tommy's sight. Currently they have raised £680,000.
I cannot wait to do this for their family and be part of this amazing journey to help to find a treatment for Tommy and the other sufferers.
Please help me to help them make this happen by sponsoring me. As a parent myself I know that if this was my Son I would do anything and everything to make a difference to his future.
Thank you for reading why I am running and sponsoring me.

One in five people will have a serious sight condition in their life time. Sight loss doesn’t care who you are or where you are from; anyone can be affected.
I'm fundraising for Fight for Sight to help fund ground-breaking research into sight loss.
The fight against sight loss is on the cusp of many breakthroughs, but we urgently need the funding to get there. Your donation to help me hit my target will help fund that research, and create a world everyone can see.
Thank you.
