Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wife was recently diagnosed with this condition. She has been suffering for several years and it has been so frustrating trying to get a diagnosis.

Since finding out what we are up against I have been amazed at just how common it is. There are over 1.5 million women suffering with Endometriosis in the UK alone. Its as common as asthma or diabetes. Yet despite being an incurable condition which causes chronic pain it takes on average 7-8 years to get an accurate diagnosis.

Im sure you will agree that this is not acceptable in this day and age. The more we can raise awareness for it and talk about it without an taboo association the more likely we are to arrive at better solutions for the females who are dealing with it.

Thabnk you for helping me to help the Endometriosis Foundation.
