Story

We are going to be raising money for Honeysuckle FC this a bereavement football team thats has been made from the liverpool womens hospital and the LFC foundation coming together.

We will be doing this by walking from our house in Staffordshire to the Liverpool Women’s Hospital 50 miles away.

We will be doing this in memory of our beautiful daughter Harper Raine who was born on 20th November 2015 at 24 weeks and was in neonatal for 4 weeks in the women's and our Baby Rory who was born sleeping.

Since the loss of both our babies we have constant support from The Honeysuckle team at the Hospital and now we are wanting to give something back in helping them raise funds and awareness of Honeysuckle FC.

HoneysuckleFC is a football team for bereaved men that have lost a baby during pregnancy, neonatal, still born or medical termination.

The football team was established in November 2022 and has now around 40 men that use this service as a support network were they can talk openly within a safe space.

The walk will be taking place on the weekend of 7th and 8th of September and finishing at the women's around 4 o'clock the Sunday.
