Story
We have officially entered the “30-year-old midlife crisis” phase, which naturally means we’ve jumped on the running bandwagon! We’ve set ourselves a challenge that our younger selves would have probably laughed at—running a marathon. And where better to do it than in the beautiful city of Paris?
But it’s not just about the gruelling 42 kilometres, we also want to raise awareness for a cause that’s close to our hearts: men’s mental health. We’ve committed to raising £1,500 to take part in this event, and every penny will go toward supporting this critical issue.
To add a bit of flair to our journey, we’ll be sporting some magnificent moustaches as we run—which will be an absolute sight. If you’re able to donate to the cause, we’d be incredibly grateful. Together, we can contribute to something truly meaningful!
A bit from Movember about their charity:
Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet its rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We cant afford to stay silent.
We are the leading charity changing the face of mens health. We know what works for men and what doesn't. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention were taking them all on.
Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 mens health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up mens health research, support services and treatment.
