Story
In April 2021 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I had no symptoms other than a lump in my neck that I noticed at Christmas time. The four months between noticing something was wrong and finally getting listened to & diagnosed were the hardest months of my life. Harder than the intense chemotherapy afterwards in my opinion.
During this time of debilitating uncertainty and anxiety, Lymphoma Action were able to calm me, educate me and reassure me. The information I learned from them encouraged me to persist with the GP.
It’s now 2 years since I finished chemotherapy & I need to get my singing voice back in shape! I’ve been putting it off as it’s gonna take a while! What better way than with a singing challenge to sing 25 Christmas songs in the 25 days to Christmas. It helps me set a goal both for myself & hopefully people will be kind enough to donate to this amazing charity!
