Story
My dad, Stan, passed away a few years ago so I am running again this year in his honor. He grew up in Vermont, not too far from where the Covered Bridges Half Marathon is held and was an 'acts of service' guy, always very active in his community. He would have been all in on the work being done at the Upper Valley Haven, the charity for which I am fund raising.
The Haven is the hub for anyone facing poverty in the Upper Valley (UV) community in Vermont. Their mission, with the support of the UV community, is to assist those who are experiencing poverty to be free from hunger, to be securely housed, and to pursue a self-directed life.
The Haven is open 365 days per year and never charges for any of its services. It serves over 14,500 people annually and is tirelessly committed to helping people who just need a little help.
On behalf of the Upper Valley Haven, thank you for your support. To learn more about the Haven, please visit https://uppervalleyhaven.org
