Some members of the Scottish muslim women lawyers group are walking 365km (the square km area of Gaza) to raise funds for Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP). After more than 16 weeks of bombing, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is only getting worse. More lives than ever are at risk. Essential supplies are scarce and running low. MAP are an organisation who are already working with partners inside Gaza to help procure and deliver vital medical aid and shelter supplies. They are distributing aid and supplies but due to the scale of this emergency being unprecedented, they need your help urgently to do more.

We aim to raise funds for MAP as long term repairs to the bodies and minds of people in Gaza will be needed for many years to come. We want to do our bit to help. You can donate your zaqat* or sadqah here. However, we’ve set up this page in case anyone at all would also like to support those displaced and suffering in Gaza right now.
