Story
I am not a pro cyclist, nor an elite, but I love to compete!
I’ve enjoyed biking for close to 30 years. Watching my stats against other cyclists, whether training for short speed rides, or training for strength to endurance long distance rides, It’s all about fun.
I also enjoy riding for great causes, therefore, from September 9th to October 7th , I am about to embark on a journey with Gateway Second Chance Foundation.
Second Chance Foundation helps give people a second chance by tutoring children. This after school programs keeps children off the streets and from being entangled with the justice system, and so much more.
You can participate in the cause by walking, running, biking, or pledge .25, .50, or $1.00 on every mile of the activity of your choice. Also, you can give a one-time donation, or you can pledge on the miles that I ride on the bike. Whatever you pledge it is greatly appreciated.
This is a wonderful cause to be competitive, because as the bike crank turns around, someone’s life is being turned around with Gateway Second Chance Foundation.
Thank you in advance,
Scottie Lee
