We provide a community centre to improve the lives of disabled children

Story

Running Reading Half in honour of my daughter Rosie. Rosie was diagnosed aged 3 with Autism and global developmental delay. Facilitates like Our House ran by Building for the future are a godsend for parents and provide support for children with all sorts of varying disabilities and needs. The staff all volunteers, are extremely welcoming and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable when I attended with Rosie. I want to raise as much as possible so please give what you can.

3 weeks or so off race now! Fund raising is going really well and chuffed with total but still would love to raise more!

Training is going pretty well other than a few hiccups with illness here and there and trying to balance shift work and parenting.....but have managed to get quicker week by week, with a 25 minute 5k 55 minute 10K and 1hr 25 min 15K so a fair bit of progress 😚

I'm hoping for around the 2 hr mark for the race itself! But in all honesty I'm planning a little pit stop to see Arthur And Rosie on the route so may no worry about my time so much on the day. But still gonna give my all !! And who knows I may have turned into a bit if a runner 🤏🤣

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYBODY THAT HAS DONATED SO FAR! HAVE NOW SMASHED £500 TARGET AND HOPING FOR £1500 ....WHICH IM NEARLY AT!!! THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE AND ALSO TO ANYONE ANONYMOUS THAT I CANT THANK PERSONALLY

Thanks in advance
