Story
On Saturday 18th May 2024, a team of intrepid cyclists will be pedalling with purpose for Teddy's Wish.
Cyclists will embark on a scenic journey through the Chiltern Hills and will have the option of completing a 50km, 100 km or 100 miles route, starting and finishing at Davenies School in Beaconsfield.
Teddy's 10 Year Tour will be a poignant ride for the charity. It will mark 10 years since it was set up by parents Jen and Chris Reid to honour the memory of their baby boy Eddie, who was only three months old when he died from SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).
The charity has spent the last decade raising funds for potentially life-saving research into the causes of SIDS, neonatal death and stillbirth and providing bereavement support for grieving families.
The precious funds raised from Teddy’s 10 Year Tour will fund bereavement counselling support for families who have suffered the devastating loss of a baby. This support is vital in giving families the strength and hope they need to rebuild their life again.
A donation of any amount will be so hugely appreciated.
