We tackle poverty with practical assistance to fight disadvantage

Story

On Friday 22nd March 2024, I will be leaving the comforts of a warm and dry home to embark on a challenge that will make a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate. I am participating in our 'Sleep Out to Help Out " event organized by Liberty Hygiene & St Vincent De Paul Society (SVP England and Wales), a local Southend charity dedicated to supporting individuals facing the harsh reality of sleeping rough.

During this event, I will be joining forces with staff, customers, local businesses, and members of the general public at Liberty Hygiene Head Office. Together, we aim to raise awareness and vital funds for St Vincents Southend.

St Vincent's Centre, Southend-on-Sea is a busy community hub supporting vulnerable people in the community with foodbank services, hot meals, in and outreach support, and household items and clothing.

Every penny raised through this fundraising campaign will stay local and directly benefit those who need it most. My personal goal is to raise at least £1,500 for this cause, but I can't do it alone. I humbly ask for your support in achieving this target by making a donation today.

Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness. Together, we can provide them with hope, warmth, and support.

Join me in making a positive impact on our community by donating now.
