Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising money for Diabetes UK. In April 2024 my niece Hallie was diagnosed with diabetes at just 10 months old.

She was rushed into hospital with sugars levels at 79. After 4 days in hospital Hallie was like a completely different baby. From then on she was given 7 injections a day and this was her norm, fast forward 9 months and now Hallie has a pump and is active toddler.

Her life will be changed forever. Hallie will go through primary school, high school, sleepovers, parties and adulthood having to count carbs, give insulin, take hypo treatments and be forever monitoring her blood sugars.

I am doing this challenge for Hallie and all those who have diabetes and carry this with them whilst carrying on with their daily lives.

Hallie is a warrior through and through, so anything you can give will be much appreciated!
