Story
This June, I’m committing to run 100+ miles in 30 days to raise awareness and funds for dementia in aid of Alzheimer Scotland.
My granny has Alzheimer’s, and seeing how dementia affects both the person and the people around them made me want to do something to help support others going through the same thing.
Throughout June I’ll be aiming to complete 100 + miles through training runs, longer runs, and everyday miles. I’ll be racing in the Dundee 10km on June 7th and to finish off I’ll also be taking on a run/hike up Ben Vorlich when we head out to Loch Lomond in early July.
Dementia affects so many families across Scotland and the wider UK, and every donation helps support people living with dementia, their families, carers, and vital services provided by Alzheimer Scotland.
My fundraising target is £500, and any support — whether that’s a donation, a share, or words of encouragement — would genuinely mean a lot.
Thank you
