Raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Story

As many of you know 2024 has been tough for me having lost family and friends due to the big C. My mum has also had a stage 4 brain tumour removed (successfully) a few months ago and my sister and mother-in-law are recent survivors with my dad living with prostate cancer. Sadly, these stories of people around the globe are all too common as scientists, Drs and everyone in between look for ways of combatting this often-fatal disease.

Therefore, I am calling on family, friends, colleagues or anyone that wants to support me as I look to raise money with Phoenix School of Martial Arts (PMA) who I have trained with and represented in numerous competitions for almost 20 years as they have been raising money for The Royal Marsden for the past 23 years.

We aim to do our best and raise as much as possible at our charity sparring day as I and the other coaches and blackbelts look to spar for over 200 rounds (each) from juniors to adults on Sunday 15th September at our School, which promises to be no easy task.
