Our clinic at Hamilton Elementary School was opened in 2002 as a way to provide preventative healthcare to the children and their families in the Murphy School District. Income is often a barrier preventing residents from seeking preventative care, oftentimes leading them to wait until emergency situations to seek care. The Hamilton clinic provides preventative primary healthcare to these families including yearly checkups; non-opioid pain management; women's health; men's health; school physicals; diabetes, high blood pressure & weight management; mental & emotional health; labs; and imaging services. Students from SCNM provide this care under faculty physician supervision.
