While we enjoy the purest filtered water in our coffee, the communities at the end of its supply chain face a water crisis. That's why this World Water Day we're calling on our supporters to join us in raising funds & awareness for Project Waterfall.

Story

Story

With our help the children at Beseka Primary School, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will gain access to clean water, safe toilet blocks and hygiene education. Having a toilet and somewhere safe to wash your hands at school is incredibly important for children, especially young girls in cultures where there is still a lot of taboo around menstruation. Without these facilities, many girls have to stay at home when they have their period. This means they can miss up to one quarter of the school year, which makes it harder for them to achieve the same grades as their male peers.

That’s why this World Water Day our school is raising awareness, fundraising and walking to help make a life changing impact to the students at the Beseka School. Our Eco Club will walk 10k along the Thames and every bit of sponsorship will help!

About the charity

771 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water, most of these people live in isolated, rural areas – the same areas growing our coffee. While we enjoy the purest filtered water in our coffee, the communities at the end of its supply chain face a water crisis.
