We build mobile cancer care units to give those with cancer extra time

Story

SCG South West and SCG Wales have teamed up to run the River Severn, from source to mouth, in just seven days, aiming to raise £7k for local charity Hope for Tomorrow.

Matt Wring, Chief Technical Officer at SCG and John Matthews, MD of SCG Wales, start their 7 x 7 x 7 challenge at the source of the Severn on Saturday 1 June 2024.

They will be running a whopping 220 miles (or 354 km) in total. That’s more than a marathon, every day for a week, without a break!

Hope for Tomorrow are a charity that helps the NHS to bring cancer treatment closer to patients with their mobile cancer care units.

It’s a fantastic cause, so dig deep and let’s send Matt and John on their way with plenty of funds to motivate them throughout their training for this charity challenge.
