We provide free high quality care & support to people who are terminally ill.

Story

Sadly in September 2023 My Mum, Heather, passed away at the great age of 95 years. Hospiscare enabled her to go peacefully in the comfort of her own home with people she loved.

Mum really LIVED her life counting her blessings, and encouraging us to do the same, right to the end.

Now, all I can do is remember her wonderful example, live my very best life and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

So… This September myself and a group of incredible friends and family will be heading to the beautiful Lake District, to trek the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike!

Time is precious and every day matters. That’s why we’re determined to make a difference, take fundraising to new heights and help make sure Hospiscare can be there for local patients and their families during one of life’s most difficult journeys.

Hospiscare is a local charity, providing palliative and end-of-life care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Although they can’t change a terminal diagnosis, they want to be there, ensuring those with life-limiting illnesses receive the expert care they need, at no cost to them or their families. Hospiscare want to be there for the friends and families of their patients, providing the support and advice they need.

I’m ready to stand by my local hospice and complete the Scafell Pike Challenge – and your support would mean the world to me and to Hospiscare.

So please, take action today and help make every step count. Your donation, no matter how small, can make a difference!
