I am taking on Claire House does Strictly 2024! I am so excited, my brother-in-law did this AMAZING event last year and now it’s my turn…

I am doing Claire House does Strictly because of my gorgeous, brave and strong nephew.

Claire House have helped my family through the hardest of times and we want to give back. My nephew Oliver who is 3 and a half has a life limiting heart condition, hypo plastic left heart syndrome (half a heart) and cerebral palsy.

They have been there for my family from my sister’s 20 weeks scan this was when Oliver was diagnosed with a heart defect and we were told he would need a minimum of 3 open heart operations at 6 weeks old, 10 months old and between 3-6 years old.

Claire House have helped us through the hardest days of our lives when Oliver was extremely, ill in hospital for 3 months from October 2021 getting past from Ward to ICU where he had to have 5 operations including ecmo (life support) in total within those 3 months.

Claire House has been there to guide us through the tough times, they are a support we didn’t know we needed, and we are still supported by Claire House even though Oliver is not currently in hospital, Oliver enjoys family fun days, respite care and swimming at Claire House.

We have met so many wonderful families who are supported by Claire House and without Claire House we would not know where we would be without their support.
