Story
At the end of July we are doing the Police Unity Tour bike ride which will be somewhere between 180 and 250 miles.
The ride raises money for the charity COPS (Care of Police Survivors) which provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.
Each rider rides for a police officer who has died and we've had permission from his family to ride in Memory of Steve Berry. Many of you will have known Steve and worked with him and his last role was as a part of Birmingham OSU.
We’ve committed to raising a minimum of £400 and if you’d like to contribute, it would be gratefully received by the charity COPS.
Even a fiver would be fantastic.
About COPS Charity:
COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.
"Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you. We are all one big family."
Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.
