The 28 Challenge for Hearing Dogs

Fundraising for Hearing Dogs For Deaf People
.............And we're back AGAIN for our "FIFTH" 28 Challenge this year. WOOF WOOF!
We have had so much fun for the last four years that we want to do this challenge again, to raise money for Hearing Dogs to train these amazing life-changing hearing dogs to help deaf people, just like me and my hearing dog Albert.
I don't really like to say this but… Albert is getting just a little bit older every year, just like all of us are! I have to remember this before I ask him to perform 28 somersaults! 😂😜 So we’re going to use this year’s time to have fun doing lots of different activities, as always. We are going to continue to do the 28 challenge together as always, but they may look very different in the years ahead. So Albert and I ask for your continued support by raising AS MUCH as we possibly can for Hearing Dogs and make this year our best and most memorable yet. Thank you in advance and let’s get ready to rumble our way into February!” 😍🥳🐾🐶❤️💙
Hearing dogs are highly trained to alert deaf people to important and life-saving sounds, such as the smoke alarm, alarm clocks and even intruder alarms and baby monitors. They also provide lots of love, companionship and emotional support, which is really important as many deaf people can feel lonely and isolated.
There are so many little costs that all add up when training one of these amazing dogs to become life-changing companions. In total, it costs £25,000 to fully train an accredited hearing dog, so The 28 Challenge is a great way to raise funds to train more life-changing hearing dogs.
(Our challenge will be alternating one).
So our challenge for this is.... for 14 days, me and Albert will do a random challenge that is based on the number 28. We will share our photos/videos on social media, so you can see what we have been up to.
We won’t be revealing what we will be doing, so you will have to tune in each day to see what we did! We hope you will enjoy watching us 👀
And for other 14 days, again we will make 28 puppy raggers. My challenge is to make 2 raggers a day. In the past, I have been making puppy raggers in square knot, but this time it will be different! I'm going to make them in spiral so it will be interesting to see how I get on with them. I'll be donating all 28 puppy raggers to Hearing Dogs for hearing dogs puppies to play with when they are off to stay with their Volunteer puppy trainer. Again, we will share our photos/videos on social media. Albert will be keeping an eye on me for this, and to remind me that I'm making them in spiral, not square knot! 🐶🐾😁
I know we are all living through a difficult time especially with cost of living, so if you could donate any amount, large or small, even a £1 will really help! All money will go directly to Hearing Dogs, to help them train life-changing hearing dogs to help deaf people, like Albert with me.
Hearing Dogs receive no central government funding which means that they rely on amazing supporters, sponsorships and fundraising.
Albert and I have been together just over 9 years now, and he has completely changed my life since day 1. Albert is absolutely amazing and so clever. I seriously don't know what I would do without him. He has given me the confidence to achieve things that I wouldn't have done without him. He has made me a more confident person, and also he has made me visible! He’s my ears, my best friend, my companion, my whole world and I love him to bits. He is my life, and it’s all thanks to Hearing Dogs, it is a fantastic charity. We hope to raise as much as we can to help them ❤️🐶🐾

Please feel free to share our page to your family and friends. The more donations we get, the more they train life-changing hearing dogs to help deaf people to leave loneliness behind, by having their best friend by their side ❤
Thank you for your support, and we hope you will enjoy our challenge!
