We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well
Story
This October, I'll be taking on my first—and only—half marathon. But this run is about so much more than crossing the finish line.
I'm running in memory of our good friend Neil, who tragically passed away last year at just 41 years old after battling bowel cancer. Neil was an avid runner, and when his wife, Liz, asked if I would join her in this run to honour him, I knew there was only one answer.
Liz and Neil's daughters, Lucy & Bethany, have set a powerful goal of raising £100,000 for the Hospice of St Francis, where Neil received compassionate care. This hospice provides invaluable support to families during the most difficult times.
I'm reaching out to ask for your support in reaching this ambitious goal. Every donation, no matter how small, will help honour Neil's memory and support the incredible work of the Hospice of St Francis.
Thank you for any contribution you can make. Even if you can't donate, simply sharing this post with your network would be greatly appreciated.

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.
