The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that provides a welcoming ‘Home from Home’ where families with a sick child in hospital can stay. But we’re more than bricks and mortar, our friendly, caring staff are there to support families when they really need it.

Without us families would have to travel long distances, sleep in uncomfortable hospital chairs or pay for expensive hotels just to be by their sick child’s hospital bedside. Not only do we alleviate financial worries but we also help the mental wellbeing of the families we support.

Without the help of the Sick Children's Trust, myself and Andrew would not have not been able to stay and look after our son whilst he was having his treatment at Sheffield Children's Hosptial. Being able to stay 3 minutes away for where our son was gave us peace of mind and a safe space for me and Andrew to rest while Joel was healing. The charity ask for nothing apart from a donation if the family are able to. They saved us and took such a huge weight from our shoulders by giving us a warm roof over our heads and we were able to our heads down for a while so we could be the best we could be for our little man. We can never repay what the trust did for us, but we are forever grateful for them being there when we needed them most.
