Story

The most enormous thank you to you all for your support for this incredible charity. I’ve been completely overwhelmed by your generosity and so today managed to push myself complete 1k rather than the 500m I’d originally signed up for.

Huge shout out for my fellow swimmers, Rachel, Julie, Deborah, Emma and Sarah and for the awesome support crew on the side as well as Emma from Thames Hospice and Andy from Bray Lake.

As I’m sure you can imagine not being able to get in the lake has been one of the hardest things over the last 9 months with my ongoing cancer battle. I’m so grateful that I will be able to get back to lake swimming soon (although the water temp will be a bit warm). This feels like a perfect event to celebrate getting back in the lake and raise funds for a local incredible charity.

Thames Valley Hospice is an amazing local facility that has helped many of our friends and their families in the past and sits on the banks of Bray Lake where I swim.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I am incredibly grateful for your kind donation.
