Some people know and others don’t, but I was diagnosed with a rare gynae cancer a couple of years ago. I had chemotherapy back in 2022, surgery in Jan 2023, more chemo then radiotherapy then a drug called Avastin. Unfortunately, in June this year I learned I had lung nodules too. Immunotherapy for this is not available via the NHS. H & T Clients Charitable Trust helps people in this circumstance. Each cycle of 6 months’ treatment costs over £8000 for me. I am incredibly lucky that I have been offered treatment at all and can contribute. Others do not have this privilege so I must fundraise for the next person coming behind me. My own circumstances may change, and I too may have to rely completely on this charity in the coming months especially if work is no longer an option. The last couple of months have been horrible. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through thus far

I now ask my fabulous network of friends, work friends, business contacts and the companies I know to give generously. This charity has given me hope in the face of a very dark place. When treatment starts, and I feel better I will try to help with any fundraising activities you can muster. Please consider cake sales, walks, getting fit, tiddlywinks championships, or even sponsored silences - whatever happened to them eh ? Really, every penny counts and will make a difference to me, both directly and indirectly. I hope beyond hope that I will be asking you to donate in the future too, as that means the treatment is working. Thanking you in advance with all my heart.
