Story
I have worked for Nightingale House for over four years now, and in that time I have crossed paths with some truly incredible people who test themselves in extraordinary ways to raise much-needed funds for our patients and their families.
it often makes me feel conscious I never putting myself forward for sporting challenges, what has always scared me is my fitness levels. I am not someone who will go into something to fail at it. I finally came across a challenge that I felt would still be a huge challenge for me but achievable with a lot of grit, determination, and commitment. Those who know me well will know I am a "water baby", Mum and Dad could never get me out of the pool once I was in it, I think I move better in water than I do on land....
So I am choosing to swim 22 miles over 12 weeks for Nightingale House Hospice. With 1,416 lengths ahead of me, each one represents the strength of individuals facing life-limiting illnesses.
If you were to kindly sponsor me today you would be supporting the essential care and compassion that Nightingale House provides. Your contribution will directly make a difference in the lives of those in need, and I'd be incredibly grateful for your support.
