I am walking the Mighty Stride with some friends to raise money for Beautiful Inside and Out (SCIO). They supported our friends (Ros, Mark and their boys) when their son, Murray, took his own life aged 16 in December 2023.

The charity provides support to families who have lost a child through suicide. They also do work around suicide prevention for young people and to heighten suicide awareness amongst educators. They work in schools and other spaces to provide young people with an outlet for expressing anxiety and depression or suicidal tendencies. Troubled young people can receive support from Beautiful Inside and Out in the form of counsellors, music, drama and art therapists.
