In January 2021, I made a life-changing decision. I donated a kidney to my younger brother, Jeff. We affectionately named the kidney Sid, and I am thrilled to share that Sid has been working brilliantly ever since. Witnessing the incredible advances in this field has been truly inspiring, as it reminds me that organ transplantation is saving lives every single day.

However, the reality is sobering. In the UK alone, six people lose their lives every week while waiting for a kidney transplant. This statistic hit me hard and motivated me to take action.

That's why I am reaching out to you today. I have decided to participate in the London Marathon 2024 as a way to raise funds and awareness for Kidney Research UK, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by kidney disease.

The London Marathon is not just any race; it's an opportunity for me to make a difference. On April 21, 2024, I will be joining thousands of passionate individuals who are committed to supporting various causes through this iconic event.
